'Joey Jordison Murderdolls' Inspired Makeup

'The lights are on,
 But there's no one home.
And I'll sit here in My dark place alone,
 Dark place alone.'

Joey Jordison is a God, he is talented and inspiring and part of 2 huge bands being Slipknot Drummer and Murderdolls Guitarist. I found these photos while I was trekking through my hard drive and decided to post this loo I created inspired by Joey Jordison, Murderdolls style. Its dark, its metal and the creative side I sometimes like to sit down and bring out. Because these are older, I cant remember all of the products that I used, but from looking at the colours and depth I do remember some of them. So I have listed what I do remember. You really can tell how old these photos are from my piercings!

I based the inspiration from the look below, thickened up the V in the middle of my forehead and smudged it more to make it look more like 'dark'. I traced the lines down my cheeks like the picture and added some purple.

I created this look from my Metal Chicks series and wasn't overly happy with it which was why I didn't end up posting it. I still am not overly happy with it, but there are always times we are not overly happy with our work and I feel that posting this anyway, opens me up for a chance for people to give their input, ideas and feedback and grow from there as an artist and makeup junkie!

    1. Thanks Hunni, I am not overly happy with it and want to improve it so thought I would post it to get some feedback at least. I did a Slipknot Joey previously and was pretty happy with that one.... this one needs some fine tuning down the track
