Review and Swatches - Stila Lip Glaze

I like lipgloss, but I am particular about the types of lipglosses that I like. I love thick and tacky glosses that coat my lips and leave either subtle color or full blown sparkles. Because of my choice in gloss, I tend to normally purchase Mac Dazzleglasses but I wanted to expand my choices after my favourite one ran out.

I recently purchased some of the Stila Lipglazes to share with some of my lovely friends in their Christmas presents and thought I would grab myself some too. I have always liked Stila Cosmetics and these colours were very summery looking and more on the coral side, something that is a lot more rare in my lip draw in my makeup table.

Stila Lipglazes are housed in a clear twist bottom casing, this I liked. I like to see when my lipgloss is getting close to the end. The gloss is applied by a small brush and the product that comes through from the twisting is next to perfect to apply to your lips. I found 2-3 twists once product reached the brush from the first use.

I like the formula, its thick and tacky just how I like it and it has a fruity scent. Its not the cheap chemical scent so that is comfortable for me. The glaze's that have colour in them, while they look strong on my arms they aren't overly pigmented on my lips so they layer up really nicely for full glossy lips with a super bold eye. The shimmery glazes are packed with enough sparkle to show but also not over power my lips. The pigmented ones do settle a little into the lines of your lips, so its always better to line your lips first with a lip pencil.

    1. I was quite impressed with the glitter one, although one of them has started to go a little funky already seperating colour from gloss!

      Thankyou, will check you out!
