Review & Swatches - Mac Pro Conceal & Correct Palette

Concealers are one of those items essential to any makeup lover and artists but its also one of those products I find that can be a little difficult to get the perfect colouring in one neat little package, especially for working makeup artists. It is never the case of having a bunch of clients with exactly the same skin tone, so we always have a heap of different concealers in our kit that we can mix and match with.

Mac Pro Conceal & Correct Palette - Light
That is where my excitement came in with the release of the Mac Pro Conceal and Correct Palette, 6 different shades in 1 palette made from my favourite formula Studio Finish to create the perfect mix. I picked up the Light Palette for myself this time around because I already have NW25 & NC30 in my kit and can mix and match with this, adding a heap more options for my clients. This little palette comes with 4 shades in the current line of concealers in NW10/20 & NC15/20 as well as 2 correct shades in pale yellow and pale pink.

I was originally the colouring of NW20 but have since noticed my skin has changed thanks to staying out of the sun, so I now have to mix my Studio Fix Fluid in NW20 with Matchmaster in 1.0 to get my right colouring. So this palette is literally perfect for my skin tone. Luckily with the recent extension of Studio Fix Fluid, once these 2 run out I can go and purchase one foundation and wont need to mix every day.

Mac Conceal & Correct Palette - Light
These are permanent at Mac Pro but are available for a limited time online and in stores with the release of the Studio Fix Fluid Extension for $65AU so if you don't have pro membership you will want to move quickly.

The formula of these is alot more creamy and easier to work and blend with than the concealer that you get in the little pots. I find that the formula in the individual pots while it is still a dream product, definitely isn't as creamy as this

Swatch Time -

(Left to Right) NC10, NW10, NC20, NW20, Pale Yellow Corrector & Pale Pink Corrector

You can see just from this swatch the amazing coverage these offer and the correctors are a nice touch to help correct uneven skin tones for that flawless finish.

What do you think of these palettes? Are you picking one up for yourself?

Peace and Love
