Review - Mac Archie's Girls Brush Kit

I can openly admit that I was caught on this brush set as soon as I saw the tin and I can admit that I am a Mac Addict and like to pick up things like this for my Mac Library. I have started to nickname my makeup collection as a library because it is starting to become a vault of Mac Collection History and I wanted to add this kit to my 'Library'. I couldn't go past the recent Mac Archies Girls collection without picking up something with the cute special packaging. I have so many makeup bags from Mac's past releases that it was nice to grab something different and collectable.

Enough of my rambles and onto the review on the kit!

Mac Brush Kits are never the same quality as their full size brushes and these are no different, but they are very cute. The hairs are course and the handles are white plastic with red hearts. I have washed these already before use and I am sad to report that the 226 dye ran when I washed it for the first time, but since then no issues.

167, 168, 226, 242 & 266

My least favourties as far as quality would be the 168 and 167 and aside from the 226 dye running I liked the other ones. They were still effective at applying product. 

These are limited edition and you can pick them up instore or online from the 4th March in Australia and these will be the same price as all Mac Special Edition Brush Kits $115AU.  

These are more of a guilty pleasure purchase for me, a collectors item I just had to have to add to my Library.
