Lip Balm is an essential part of anyone's beauty routine, to keep those lips baby smooth. I often have one in my handbag, a couple in my beauty draws and scattered around my bathroom. I was happy for fellow blogger Sophie from Born To Buy when she released her own line of lip balms because really who knows beauty products better than beauty bloggers? I wanted to share my thoughts on one of the lip balms from that line, Killa Vanilla.
First to mention is the scent of these... YUMMO! I love vanilla scents anyways and I love how creamy and delicious this smelt when I opened the little tube. That is one thing I find with so many lip balms is the scent is usually quite subtle. The texture and the balm itself, ti feels like I have a lolly on my lips that moisturises my lips. Does that make sense?
If that sounds a little whack, the best way I can describe this is it reminds me of a scented lipgloss when applied to my lips but there is no shine or colour so it's still a lip balm. Because the scent of this particular one is so sweet, I did find myself rubbing my lips together more often than say if I was to wear Baby Lips so in turn I was reapplying it more to get that sweet taste again. I find it moisturising and helps combat that dry skin on the lips and prep them for perfect application of whatever lipstick whenever you wish!
If you are interested in trying one of these, you can pick them up from Sophies Blog Page / Store www.dontstopbuying.com and they are $9AU each.
